In Gran Canaria, where I was born, people use to bless each other when they are about to leave the house. When I was living in Germany I missed this blessing so much that I created the Blessingmaschine or Benedicti-o-mat. Its compatible with every household. A lightmechanism can be activated by pressing a button. It throws then a ray of light in the shape of a cross on the users forehead – first vertically, then horizontally - and therefore blessing him/her.
